Nappy Joe ("we," "us," or "our") operates Nappy Joe, a mobile game available on iOS (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Account data. When you first open the App, we create an anonymous account using Firebase Authentication. This generates a unique user ID (UID). We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifying information to create your account.
Username. You may choose a public display name (username). This is visible to other players in multiplayer modes, leaderboards, and friend lists.
Gameplay data. We store your high scores, ranking information (Glicko-2 rating), match history, cosmetic item ownership, in-game currency balance, and friends list. This data is associated with your anonymous UID.
Purchase data. If you make in-app purchases, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive a confirmation of the purchase but do not collect or store your payment information, billing address, or Apple ID.
Device data. We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, location data, or analytics telemetry.
We use the information described above solely to:

Your username, scores, and ranking are visible to other players through in-game features (leaderboards, multiplayer, friend lists). No other data is shared publicly.

Your game data is retained for as long as your account exists. Since accounts are anonymous, there is no "account deletion" flow — if you delete the App and do not reinstall, your anonymous UID becomes inaccessible. We may periodically purge inactive accounts (no activity for 12+ months).
If you wish to have your data deleted, contact us at the email below with your username, and we will remove your records from our systems.
Nappy Joe is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since all accounts are anonymous and we collect no identifying information, the risk of inadvertent collection is minimal.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
The App offers in-app purchases for in-game currency ("Pebbles"). Pebbles can be used to open loot boxes, which contain randomized cosmetic items. These items are purely visual and provide no gameplay advantage.
Loot box odds are disclosed within the App before purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.
We use Firebase security rules and authenticated access to protect your data. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect the information we store.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
